BILL GRAHAM, Bucknell
’62 studied business management at Bucknell, where
he captained The Bison Wrestling team as a senior during an
unbeaten season. His career success culminated as Chairman
and CEO of The Graham Company in Philadelphia, one of the nation's
largest insurance brokerage firms. In 2010, his firm was named The
Philadelphia Business Journal’s 4th-Best Place to
Work in Philadelphia, among large companies. As an alumnus, Mr.
Graham has committed millions to Bison Athletics, including help to
re-instate Bucknell Wrestling and to enhance women’s
athletics.
To
help save wrestling, he invited Dan Gable to Bucknell to provide
support, as The Bison became one of the first schools to re-instate
wrestling. Graham was named University Division Donor of the
Year by the National Association of Athletic Development
Directors. Bill Graham is a resident of Gladwynne, PA and is
active in his Church, where he once served as trustee. He is
currently serving as a member of the Board of Trustees for Bucknell
.
