Quaker Notemeal
*Sement and Revano grabbed their first dual meets of the season with victories tonight.

*The stretch of four straight wins is the most in a dual meet since the Quakers took five straight bouts over Drexel last February.

*Hale and Incontrera are 2-0 in duals, with both of their wins coming from Big Ten battles.

How It Happened
Newly ranked Revano, who put on a show at Midlands Championships last weekend, carried his momentum into tonight, getting the Quakers' first win of the meet over #33 Andrew Clark. After a heavily defensive first that was scoreless for both grapplers, Revano revved up the heat in the second with a takedown to lead 3-1. That was enough for the senior as he went on a run in the third, recording three additional takedowns over the national-ranked Scarlet Knight to win the bout by decision, 10-7.

Sement grabbed his first dual meet win of his collegiate career against Big Ten opponent Rutgers, winning his contest over Luke Gayer to give Penn its first lead of the meet at 6-3. The Scarlet Knight opened the battle with three points to lead 3-1 after the first. Sement prevailed, tallying back-to-back nearfalls in the second to score eight back points to take the lead at 9-3. Sement's cushion was deep enough to give Gayer a final escape before taking the match by decision, 10-4.

#11 Incontrera is now 2-0 on the season in dual meets, taking a win against #3 Iowa back in December. The junior captain opened the meet hot, bringing down Shane Cartagena twice to take an early 6-1 lead after the first. Incontrera kept the streak going, scoring an eight-point second period with six-point coming from takedowns. He did not let up in the third, taking down Cartagena two more times to win the match by tech fall, 21-4, and push Penn's lead to 11-3.

The Red and Blue's final win in the meet was a gritty battle from #16 Hale, who recently placed second at 184 at Midlands. The bout was defensive for most of the first two periods, with Rutgers' Brian Soldano leading by one after four minutes of action. Hale opened the third with an escape to tie things up, then posted a takedown to lead 4-1. Soldano tried to come back with an escape, but it was too late as Hale took the contest by decision, 4-2.
