VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton wrestling team competed in two duals Friday afternoon, as the Bearcats fell to North Dakota State 27-12 before prevailing in the nightcap to Edinboro, 29-12. Despite the loss to the Bison, BU had two wins over nationally ranked opponents. Against the Fighting Scots, Binghamton won seven of 10 bouts to get the victory.
"I'm proud of the way we wrestled today," head coach Kyle Borshoff said. "Joe (Doyle) and Lou (DePrez) had big wins over nationally ranked opponents, and we did well against Edinboro. We still need to work on coming out on top in one-point matches, it's something we need to get better at as a whole."
