LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell wrestling scored 17 points over its final three bouts to seal a big 30-12 win over Brown in the team's final home dual of the season in Davis Gym on Saturday. Four Bison wrestlers scored bonus points overall, and seven earned victories.

Bucknell celebrated Senior Day prior to Saturday's match, and Miles Bassett, Dorian Crosby, Nick Delp, Matt Kidwell and Austin Walley were each recognized as part of the Class of 2024.

Crosby put an exclamation mark on the match and Senior Day by pinning Alex Semenenko to help the Bison reach 30 points for a fifth time this season. The lead was less comfortable midway through the match, however, as Brown trailed by just one at 13-12 prior to the late Bison run. The run also included a pin by Mikey Bartush at 184 and a tech fall by Logan Deacetis at 197. All three of Brown's wins came by major decision.

14th-ranked Kurt Phipps got the scoring started for the Bison by defeating 2023 EIWA placewinner Hunter Adrian by a 6-1 decision at 133. Bucknell still trailed 4-3 following Brown's major decision by Michael Joyce at 125.

Dylan Chappell gave Bucknell the lead with a 7-2 decision over Ian Oswalt at 141, and the Bison never trailed again. Braden Bower blanked Sam McMonagle with a 9-0 major decision to make it 10-4, but the Bears responded immediately at 157 with a Blake Saito 8-0 major.

18th-ranked Noah Mulvaney got the Bison back on track with a come-from-behind 9-5 decision over Keegan Rothrock. Mulvaney trailed 4-0 early on, but he got back in the win column and improved to 24-4 on the season.

Jonathan Conrad cut Bucknell's lead to a single point once more, supplying the Bears with four points at 174 through an 11-1 major decision over senior Matt Kidwell, but they were Brown's final points of the afternoon.

Bartush improved to 21-8 on the season with a first-period pin over Colby Isabelle. It was his fourth pin of the season. Deacetis then registered his fifth tech fall of the year, defeating Lear Quinton 17-2 at the buzzer with the riding time point.

Bucknell moved to 8-7 (4-4 EIWA) with the win and solidified a 5-2 record in home duals.

The Bison have one more dual remaining on the schedule before hosting the 2024 EIWA Championships. They travel to Princeton next Friday, Feb. 23 to face the Tigers at 7 p.m.
