PRINCETON, NJ - The Princeton wrestling team dropped its first match of the day to Penn, 34-8. Nate Dugan defeated No. 17 Maximus Hale and Matt Cover took down John Stout to claim the only Tiger bout victories of the day.

Nate Dugan went for the win over No. 17 Maximus in extra time today. The match was tied a one a piece with both wrestlers earning an escape point in regular time. The first and only fourth period of the day would be required. Dugan capitalized on his shot at an unbalanced Hale in OT and secured the sudden victory takedown to win it 4-1, putting the Tiger's first points on the board.

Matt Cover dominated John Stout in his heavyweight bout. Cover picked up three takedowns, with two of them in the final period. A huge scoring opportunity for Cover arrived with a two point reversal that lead to a 4 second near fall for additional back points. Cover went on to win by technical fall, 16-1 (7:00).
