NEW YORK – The Columbia wrestling team won eight of 10 bouts to claim a 33-6 dual match victory against Brown on Sunday afternoon in Levien Gymnasium. The Lions have now won three dual matches in a row to improve 4-8 overall, 3-4 in EIWA duals and 2-3 in Ivy League duals.
 
Nick Babin (125), Kai Owen (141), Richard Fedalen (149), Kyle Mosher (165), No. 16 Lennox Wolak (174), No. 26 Aaron Ayzerov (184), No. 27 Jack Wehmeyer (197) and Vincent Mueller (285) all picked up bout wins Sunday to help Columbia secure its second Ivy League win of the season.
 
Babin set the tone early for Columbia with a strong 13-6 decision win against Michael Joyce in the 125 bout. Owen and Fedalen followed with decision victories at 141 and 149 to put the Lions up, 9-3 after the first four bouts.
 
Columbia dominated the last five bouts, earning bonus points in four of the victories. Mosher took the mat for the 165 bout to face Brown's Keegan Rothrock. Mosher won by fall in 3:23 to mark his second fall victory of the weekend. Mosher also knocked off Harvard's 28^th-ranked Joshua Kim on Friday.
 
"Barring sickness and injury, which I was dealing with earlier in the season, right now I am feeling 100 percent," Mosher said. "I'm getting the right training and right diet, and I'm ready to keep going for the postseason."
 
Wolak stepped up next and secured back-to-back pins with the Lions. Wolak pinned Jonathan Conrad in 2:26 to bounce back after falling to No. 5 Phil Conigliaro in the dual match Friday.
 
Ayzerov registered a 19-2 tech fall win over Colby Isabelle at 184 before Wehmeyer secured a 17-8 major decision against Lear Quinton in the 197 bout. Mueller closed out the match with a 7-2 decision win against Alex Hamrick in the heavyweight bout.
 
"We just have to keep building," Mosher said. "We're going to be back tomorrow and just keep building the breaks and watching the matches to see what we did right and what we did wrong and keep moving forward."
 
Columbia closes out the regular season at home next Sunday against American. The match will begin at 12 p.m. and the team will celebrate senior day.
