How It Happened
#33 Gallagher gave the Quakers a lead they would not lose with the first dual win of his collegiate career. The freshman recorded an early takedown against UNC's Marco Tocci, creating a lead he would hold the entire bout. Gallagher rolled on with two more takedowns to lead 10-1 after the second, then tallying 11 points over Tocci in the third to win by tech fall, 20-4, to give Penn a 3-0 lead.

#10 Colaiocco bounced back this meet, getting his first dual victory since Penn wrestled Iowa back in December. Two takedowns in the first created a 3-1 cushion for the senior, which was followed by six additional points from takedowns in the second to extend Colaiocco's lead to 10-2. The steep lead was enough for Colaiocco as he added seven more points to the board in the third to take the match by major decision over Jace Palmer (UNC), 17-8.

Dunnigan's first dual win of the season went by fairly quickly for the sophomore as he recorded seven straight points from a takedown and a nearfall in the second and beginning of the third to lead 7-1. North Carolina's Wil Guida tried to put up a fight, scoring three points, but Dunnigan prevailed to win the contest by decision, 8-3, to lengthen the Quakers lead to 12-4.

#25 Revano stayed hot in today's meet, getting his second straight dual victory with the win by decision, 8-3, over Sonny Santiago (UNC). A scoreless first did not deter the senior as he went up 3-2 from takedown mid-second. Revano kept it going in the third with four quick points highlighted by his third takedown of the bout to grab the match by decision, 8-3, and push Penn's lead to double figures at 15-4.

Sement's contest was the closest of the meet, with a win by decision, 3-2, over Isaias Estrada (UNC). The sophomore's three points of the bout came from an escape and two stalling warnings, but it was enough to secure Sement's second straight dual victory.

#11 Incontrera opened his match against the Tar Heels' Tyler Eischens with a fury, tallying seven points from a takedown and nearfall to be up 7-0 after one. Incontrera wrapped the bout up quickly, scoring two additional takedowns in the second and third to grab the win by decision at 11-4.

The Red and Blue's final victory against North Carolina was at 184 from #16 Hale. The Tar Heel got on the board first, but the junior shook it off with four straight points to lead 4-3 heading into the second. Hale found his usual momentum in the second, scoring 14 points in the period to push Blah Dahnweih's (UNC) hole to 17-6. The third ended fast as Hale got the tech fall over Dahnweih, 23-7, to get the Red and Blue their dual winning 26 points.
