Cory Day (285) has been named EIWA Wrestler of the Week after defeating two ranked opponents in Binghamton's weekend dual meets.

In the premier match against Hofstra on Friday night, No. 16 Cory Day shut out No. 21 Keaton Kleuver 9-0 to secure the victory for the Bearcats. The win was one of eight Binghamton wins in its 31-6 victory. Day had previously defeated Kleuver 3-2 when the latter was wrestling for Minnesota back in 2021. 

Day followed up the shutout win over Kleuver with an 11-2 Major Dec. victory over No. 27 Matt Cover in Binghamton's 26-12 victory over Princton the following day!
