In the last dual meet of the year, Binghamton's No. 9 Lou DePrez (197) defeated No. 7 Jacob Cardenas (Cornell).

The match saw DePrez use a lighting quick arm drag to a single leg for the takedown on Cardenas early in the first period. DePrez continued to display his dominance on the feet by scoring another takedown in the second period.  His strong defense stymied Cardenas's normally strong leg attack on the feet. Cardenas was limited to three escapes on the stingy DePrez.

His win over Cardenas, last year's EIWA Champion and All-American, earned DePrez EIWA Wrestler of the Week honors!
