Connor Pins Ranked Opponent as Tigers Battle N.C. State

Aidan Conner ended the day with a highlight win over North Carolina State's 13th-ranked Isaac Trumble as the fifth-ranked Wolfpack took the match 32-9 over 19th-ranked Princeton on Sunday in Jadwin.
The Wolfpack won the first six matches of the day, but Princeton got on the board as Jake Marsh had a 5-4 win over AJ Kovacs at 165, with Marsh using a third-period takedown and a riding-time point to secure the win.
Three matches later, Connor, trailing 4-1 at the time, overcame Isaac Trumble with a pin with 16 seconds left in the first period.
The Tigers will face the third of six fellow top-20 opponents on the season when sixth-ranked Arizona State comes to Jadwin next Sunday at noon.
