BALTIMORE - Led by pins from Raymond Lopez, Kaden Milheim, and Liam Volk-Klos, five different wrestlers scored bonus points as the American University wrestling team closed out its regular season with a 30-15 win over Morgan State. The Eagles finish the dual meet season at 11-10, the most dual wins in the program since 2011. 

Notable

• JJ Peace got the ball rolling for AU with a commanding 10-0 major decision over Morgan State's Julian Dawson. After a scoreless first period, the freshman earned two takedowns and two near fall points on his way to the 10-0 victory. The true freshman now has 15 overall wins and five dual wins. 
• Lopez made quick work of Treshaun Tecson at 133, locking down the pin at 2:16. The win is Lopez's third in a row, giving him 18 wins this season and a team-leading 56 dual points earned. 
• Senior Elijah White kept the bonus points coming for AU in his final regular season bout, using two takedowns and 10 near fall points to secure the technical fall in 3:58. 
• Gage Owen followed White's win with a 10-5 decision at 149, then Devon Capato fell in sudden victory to to Aaaron Turner 8-5. 
• Milheim got the Eagles back on track with a pin of Cooper Lockhart in just 1:17. The redshirt freshman has 10 victories and earned 29 dual points for the team this season. 
• The Bears answered back with a major decision against Breon Phifer at 174 and a 10-3 decision over Lucas White at 184, but redshirt sophomore Liam Volk-Klos added the final bonus point for AU with a pin at 197 to make the score 30-10. 
• Wrestling at 285 for the first time this season, Carsten Rawls fell to Xavier Doolin by technical fall, 19-1, to close out the meet. 
• The Eagles finish the regular season with an 11-9 overall record and 359 dual points.
