HEMPSTEAD, NY – The Sacred Heart University men's wrestling team took part in the Hofstra Quad, hosted by Hofstra University, Saturday afternoon at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex. Despite the challenges, the Pioneers showed their determination in the quad meet. They suffered a tough 37-0 loss to The Citadel, followed by a narrow 23-15 defeat to the Duke Blue Devils. The afternoon concluded with a 33-12 setback to the Pride.
 
Of Note:

• It was a day of personal triumphs for Felix Lettini and Aidan Zarrella, who finished the day with a pair of victories each. 
• Andrew Fallon, Hunter Perez, and Brendan Gilchrist also made significant contributions to the team's performance, each securing a win for the Pioneers. 
• Lettini's two wins came against Duke's SP O'Donnell and Hofstra's Jurious Clark, both by decision at 157 pounds. 
• Zarrella also picked up his two wins on the afternoon against Duke's David Hussey and Hofstra's Greyson Harris by decision at 174 pounds.
