Bearcats get wins from Sobotker, Cassella, DePrez, and Nolan

COLLEGE PARK, Md. Binghamton wrestling battled hard against Maryland in the final dual of the season. The Bearcats will head to the EIWA Championships in Philadelphia on March 4-5. The Bearcats wrestled one of the toughest 2022-23 regular season schedules in the country, in order to get ready for the postseason.

  • At 133 pounds, Anthony Sobotker won a 4-1 decision over King Sandoval.

  • Brevin Cassella extended his win streak to 12 with a 3-1 win against John Best at 165 pounds.
     
  • Sam DePrez picked up his seventh dual victory of the season at 174 pounds 
     
  • At 184 pounds, No. 23 Jacob Nolan won his seventh consecutive dual match with a 5-0 decision win over Kevin Makosy.
