PHILADELPHIA – Penn Wrestling made the trip west for the 2021 MatMen Open. The two-day tournament was created to replace the cancelled Midlands Championships. The MatMen is being held at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
After the first session, Penn led the field of teams with 11 grapplers advancing to the quarterfinals. Penn had at least one wrestler advance to the quarterfinals in each weight class.

Miller, Composto, Artalona, Zapf, and Hall all advanced to the semifinals. The semifinals will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 30.
