Kyle Mosher and
Nikolas Miller picked up wins for Hofstra in a 39-7 loss to No. 28 Penn Sunday afternoon. The Pride slipped to 5-5 overall with the loss, while the Quakers improved to 7-3 following their fifth consecutive victory. </span><br />

<span id="docs-internal-guid-e4b60e79-7fff-a5b0-6e51-8d13c284da57">Starting at 125 pounds, Penn won the first five bouts, all bonus point victories, to take a 26-0 lead. Mosher, ranked 32nd by InterMat and 31st by FloWrestling, stopped the Quakers run with a 14-3 major decision over Andy Troczynski at 165 pounds. Penn would take the next two weights, though the 184-pound bout between nationally-ranked Maximus Hale and
Ross McFarland lived up to the billing with Hale using a late third period takedown to claw out a 4-1 decision.</span><br />

Miller would rally from a 4-2 deficit in his 197-pound match against Nate Taylor, winning in sudden victory by the score of 8-5. Penn would get a tech fall victory in the 285-pound match to end the day. </span><br />

Hofstra returns to action next Sunday, February 2, at 4 p.m. versus EIWA-foe Franklin & Marshall. That match will take place in the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex. </span><br />
