Redshirt junior Xavier Doolin
"I've been a bit banged up and off the mat for a while, so that's been a challenge," said Doolin. "I also didn't finish the way I wanted to—there was a late takedown in the second period that I shouldn't have given up. It wasn't the position I should have been in, so I need to work on avoiding situations like that moving forward."
Despite the challenges that come with being a relatively inexperienced team, Doolin emphasizes that the learning process is a collective endeavor.
"As a team, I think we're making progress and growing, but we still have a lot to learn. We're a young squad overall. Right now, it's just me and Darrien Roberts with more experience on the mat, and we're all learning and figuring it out together," says Xavier Doolin.
The match concluded with Doolin's hand raised, adding another impressive win to his ledger.
Xavier Doolin's impressive performance this season his overall record of 7-3. with a standout record of 4-1 in collegiate duals.

"I felt that overall, we didn't fight as hard in some positions as we should have. But we had a couple of strong performances, especially from Xavier Doolin," stated head coach Kenny Monday.
"We're still a young team, and we're working on gaining experience and getting these guys match-ready. We need to improve our overall performance, but we'll keep working and building."
"Daririen Roberts had a solid wrestling performance, especially against the number six kid in the country. That match was really close, and he had a great shot at winning. I think it gives us a lot of momentum heading into the New Year."
