BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — The LIU wrestling team closed Saturday with consecutive wins by Drew Witham, Rhise Royster and Blake Bahna.

However, the Sharks fell to Franklin & Marshall, 29-11, at Pratt Recreation Center.

Continuing a strong stretch of wrestling, Witham produced a 13-4 major decision over Bryce Kresho at 149 pounds to get the Sharks on the scoreboard.

Royster followed with another major decision, 10-2 over Nick Alvarez at 157 pounds.

Bahna then produced a 5-1 victory over Noah Bash at 165 pounds.

Earlier, Gavin Claro was forced to exit his match at 184 pounds with an apparent shoulder injury.

The Sharks return to action next Saturday at Bucknell.
