CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University wrestling used a pin from senior
Lukus Stricker and major decision from junior
Trevor Tarsi to top Binghamton University, 19-17, in an EIWA dual meet on Saturday morning at the Malkin Athletic Center as the Crimson closed the regular season on a three-match win streak.
In the regular season finale for both teams, the Crimson (4-5, 4-5 EIWA) and Bearcats (7-11, 5-3 EIWA) each won five bouts, but Harvard gained the victory behind bonus-point wins from Stricker and Tarsi. Trailing 7-3 through the meet's first three bouts, the Crimson won four of the next five matchups to move ahead 19-10 prior to closing out the victory.

Bayless, Stricker, Tarsi, and Kim all won twice on the weekend after notching wins at Brown on Thursday night. Stricker closed the regular season as the team's leader in wins (16), falls (four), dual wins (seven), dual points (33), and dual falls (four).
Harvard Highlights
- Senior Lukus Stricker tallied a second-period pin in 4:20 over Michael Zarif at 149 pounds for his fourth fall of the season and the dual season. Stricker closed the regular season with a 16-9 record and a 7-2 dual mark. He stands as the team's leader in wins (16), falls (four), dual wins (seven), dual points (33), and dual falls (four).
- Junior Trevor Tarsi registered a 14-6 major decision over Tyler Martin at 157 pounds. Tarsi tallied three takedowns in the first period and a takedown in each of the second and third frames on his way to the win. He concluded the regular season with nine victories and three major decisions.
- Junior Beau Bayless topped Nick Curley at 125 pounds, 9-8. After Bayless took a 2-0 lead through the first period, Curley brought an 8-5 edge into the final frame. Bayless then scored a takedown, official's point, and a point for riding time to seal the win. He finished the regular season with a 12-11 record.
- Sophomore Joshua Kim tallied a 10-5 decision over Jacob Nolan at 174 pounds. After Kim brought a 6-1 lead into the third period, Nolan closed the gap to 6-5 before Kim responded with an escape, takedown, and riding time point to win the match. Kim finished the regular season with a 14-10 record.
- First-year Luke Rada helped seal the team win with a 4-1 decision over Cory Day at 184 pounds, extending the Crimson's lead in the team score from 16-10 to 19-10. Rada shutout Day through the first two periods, bringing a 4-0 advantage into the third. Rada finished the regular season with eight victories.
- Harvard improved to 2-3 all-time vs. Binghamton.
