JESSE JANTZEN, Harvard ’04 was New York’s first-ever four-time state champion, with a 6-year mark of 221-3, losing only in 7^th and 8^th grade. He earned ASICs National Outstanding Wrestler Award as a senior and won national high school and Junior National Freestyle titles. At Harvard, Jesse won NCAAs at 149 in 2004 and earned the OW Award. He was Crimson’s 2nd-ever national champion and first in 66 years, placing third twice using his renowned "Jantzen Ride.” His record for his last three years was 114-6.

      Jantzen was named All-Rookie first-team by Amateur Wrestling News, adding three EIWA titles, the OW and Sheridan Awards in 2002, and the Fletcher Award for career points at his final two Easterns. Jesse’s only EIWA loss came as a freshman vs. a senior NCAA runner-up. In freestyle Jantzen placed third at University Nationals and the U.S. National Open.  He placed 2^nd at the NYAC International, 1^st in the University World Games and 4^th at the 2005 U.S. World Team Trials. He is Head of Equity Trading for Clearview Management in NYC.
