*PATRICK O. JOHNSON, Harvard ’33- recorded three technical falls en route to a third-place finish at the 1933 NCAA Wrestling Tournament. Johnson was named Co-Most Outstanding Wrestler for his performance, sharing the honor with Alan Kelley from Oklahoma State.  Patrick would later serve as head coach of the Crimson from 1936-41 and coached John Harkness to Harvard's first NCAA individual national champion in 1938. Harvard tied Lehigh for seventh place at the 1938 NCAA meet.

Johnson never wrestled a match in the EIWA conference tournament since Harvard was a member of the New England Intercollegiate Wrestling Conference before joining the EIWA in 1934.  Some speculated that Pat’s NCAA performance may have been a contributing factor.
