Aaron Ayzerov, 184 lbs. earned Wrestler of the Week honors after posting convincing victories in Columbia's two dual meets.

He secured his second victory of the year over No. 7 Chris Foca in Friday night's dual meet against Cornell. It was an intense match marked by many attack and counter sequences by both wrestlers. The two were deadlocked 1-1 in the third after each scored an escape after choosing the bottom position. Midway through the third period a strong Ayzerov scored a go-behind takedown on Foca and rode him out for an impressive 4-0 victory. Earlier this year Ayzerov had beaten the Cornell All-American at the Cliff Keene Invitational in Las Vegas.

In Sunday's dual meet with Bucknell No. 29 Aaron Ayzerov stole the dual meet momentum for Columbia when he pinned Mikey Bartush in 3:22. Columbia prevailed over Bucknell 25-13
