A key third period reversal propelled Giuseppe Hoose (184) to victory over No. 25 Will Ebert.

Giuseppe Hoose closed things out in Drexel's dual meet win over Binghamton on home mats on Saturday. He scored a reversal in the final minute of the third period against No. 25 Will Ebert, taking the 3-1 decision win.  His match was the capstone on a 23-10 victory over Binghamton. The win puts Drexel in the driver's seat in the EIWA Independence Division.  Binghamton, who led the division with a 3-0 record, drops to 3-1.  Drexel is now 1-0 in division matches with the bulk of its division duals coming up in the next several weeks.

Coach Azaverdo had this to say about Hoose's victory, "Giuseppe has been a tremendous addition to our program. He brings an effort and an attitude that is contagious within our team. Giuseppe is known for his pace as a wrestler, and that pace is what led him to victory on Saturday night. We had a game plan going into that match and Giuseppe was able to execute it. It all came down to the third period. We knew Ebert was tough on top, but Giuseppe has a lot of confidence on bottom, so we put them down and he was able to get the reversal and a big ranked win."
