EIWA Recap at the NCAA Championships - Day Two

Day Two of the NCAA Championships concluded on Friday. Seventeen wrestlers entered the day with All-American hopes; four walked away with All-America honors!  

Sheldon Seymour utilized riding time in the tiebreaker period to revenge his loss to the top-seeded wrestler, Luke Lilledahl of Penn State in the quarterfinals. For the second year in a row, Lehigh will have a 125lbs wrestler on the podium after Luke Stanich achieved the feat a season ago.  

Josh Koderhandt earned All-American honors as a senior. With his podium finish, Navy has had an All-American two years in a row for the first time since 2008 and 2009. In the same breath, Navy earned another All-American thanks to Danny Wask's win over Nick Incontrera of Penn in the bloodround. This was the first time since 2009 that Navy has had two podium finishers in one season.  

Owen Trephan rounds out the All-Americans for the conference. He fell to #1 seed, Gable Steveson and will wrestleback for 3rd place tomorrow. His first opponent will be his former teammate from NC State, Isaac Trumble.
